1. In his scraggy voice, KIM pulls us towards a universe that’s pleasant to discover. The second part of Don Lee Doo Trilogy, his new album is inspired by diverse influences. Rock and pop-kitsch at the same time, the music of KIM brings a certain freshness in the world of the music. Here is the remix of « My Family » by Reims-based group ALB.

2. « Show Time » is the third extract of Zoxea’s last album: “Tout dans la Tête”. But it is not just a piece of Zoxeakopat, rather it is about a new piece combining Les Sages Poètes de la Rue : Zoxea, Melopheelo and Dany Dan. And we like that.

3. The first song of their new album, The Maze of Parisian, from the producers and composers of Chateau Marmont, « Wargames », is a small pop jewel, which we can’t get bored of listening to.

4. The 17th release of the label Marble was the EP of Symphony Hall or more precisely the collaboration between Riton (ex-half of Carte Blanche) and Canblaster (member of Club Cheval). An EP named One Night Stand and consisted two tracks « One Night Stand », featuring Jay Norton, and « Metal Arrives ». The first piece is a very warm pop, very sexy RnB vocal and which acts as a drug for our ears. A true hit!

5. « L.OV.E. » is a pure 80’s groovy tune, waited on hand and foot by the Parisian producer Onra. It’s a return to basics after its brilliant Chinoiseries brought out during the last two years.

6. No need to present Pete Rock, pure legend of the underground hip-hop since late 80’s. Of course, we know his career in duet with CL Smooth. What we evoke much less, and it is such a pity, it is this great piece featuring the French rapper Passi, lays down strong lyrics on this piece, “Who Is This”.

7. Lonely Band is a solo artist, he makes everything solo. And at only 21 years old, he is not only a promising artist but already cutting edge. Inspired by Bob Dylan amongst others, he creates sounds never heard before in France thanks to his unique mixture of tone and genre.

8. This summer Zombie Zombie brought out an LP entitled  » Rocket Number 9  » which included 3 titles. 2 of which where remixed by Joakim and Gesaffelstein. This is the latter.

9. Despite the album being brought out a few months ago on the excellent label InFiné, that does not stop us from loving the beautiful work of Oxia, a massive French producer known to every bedroom techno producer.

5. « L.OV.E. » s’inscrit comme une poussée groovy aux réminiscences 80′s jouissives, servie sur un plateau d’argent par le producteur parisien Onra. Retour aux sources après ses géniales Chinoiseries sorties ces deux dernières années.

6. Pas besoin de présenter Pete Rock, pure légende du hip-hop underground depuis les 80’s. On connaît également sa carrière en duo avec CL Smooth. Ce qu’on évoque beaucoup moins, et c’est bien dommage, c’est ce super morceau en featuring avec le rappeur français Passi, qui pose un très bon couplet sur ce morceau, Who Is This.

7. Lonely Band est tout seul, il fait tout tout seul. Et à seulement 21 ans, il est non seulement prometteur mais déjà avant-gardiste. Il entre dans un credo jamais pris en France grâce à son mélange unique de sonorités et de genres.

8. Cet été Zombie Zombie a sorti un maxi intitulé “Rocket Number 9” avec 3 titres dont 2 remixes signés Joakim et Gesaffelstein. Voici le second remix.

9. Album sorti déjà il y a quelques mois sur l’excellent label InFiné, ça n’empêche pas de saluer le beau travail d’Oxia, grand producteur français connu de tout amateur de techno.
